I don’t have any affiliate links going on this blog at this point, so I’m not making any money recommending stores and such. Not that I wouldn’t. I’m a money-grubbing money grubber. But just so you know, I’m telling you about this online store I just found just in case you, like me, are doing some home shopping and want to earn miles while you do it.
We have a huge remodel going on at our house right now. If you’ve ever done a big home project, you know that one of the most difficult things is the decision fatigue. Or maybe it’s just hard for me. I’m not all that good at choosing lighting, plumbing fixtures, tile, etc. Fortunately, we’re towards the end as far as choices go, and the things we have left are pretty fun choices: we need a chandelier, a little wallpaper, that kind of thing.
Of course, I’ve been trying to make as many purchases as possible through Southwest Rapid Rewards Shopping, so we can nail down those Companion Passes for 2022. But since one of our go-to stores, Rejuvenation, left the program, it’s been hard. I found a few light fixtures on lighting shops that participate, like 1800Lighting and Lumens, but most of the things there are not as nice as we’d hope.

So yesterday I was excited when we selected a wallpaper pattern and landed on a store that pays that pays 1 RR point per dollar spent, Lulu and Georgia. In addition to wallpaper, this store has furniture, rugs and lighting. The aesthetic reminds me of Serena and Lily, but a little less starkly chic. I like it better, and besides, Serena & Lily isn’t part of a mileage program.
Now, I’m having fun browsing Lulu and Georgia for our biggest remaining selection: the dining room chandelier. Like maybe this guy? I like how airy it is, since this chandelier will be in front of a large window. And it’s only $675, which for a chandelier ain’t bad.

Or there’s this one, which I like because it looks like a model of a molecule. Unfortunately, the brass color has a waiting list. This one, the Bobbi Chandelier, is also affordable at $770.

The only thing I’m buying at this store for sure at the moment is the wallpaper, for the inside of our bookcase, like this. I can’t wait to see it up! Even cooler, our contractor had the idea to put the wallpaper on a masonite board, so that we can have a different paper on the other side to turn around for variety. Our second wallpaper is probably going to be something like this tin ceiling tile pattern, which is available on Overstock, another Southwest shopping partner!
